Elevate Driving School – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your registration and participation in the Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course offered by Elevate Driving School (“Elevate”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By enrolling in the course or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Course Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years of age to enroll in the BDE course.

• A valid Ontario G1 license is required to begin in-car driving lessons.

2. Course Structure (MTO-Approved BDE Program)

• The BDE program includes:

  • 20 hours of online digital theory instruction

  • 10 hours of in-car training with a certified instructor

  • 10 hours of home link (homework)

Completion of all 40 hours is mandatory to receive a certification through the Ministry of Transportation (MTO).

3. Attendance and Scheduling

• Students are responsible for completing all modules and driving sessions.

• In-car lessons must be scheduled directly with your assigned instructor.

• 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an in-car lesson. Failure to do so may result in a $40 cancellation fee.

• No-shows without notice will be charged the full lesson amount.

4. Course Completion and Certification

• Students must complete all components of the BDE program within 12 months of starting.

• Upon successful completion, certification will be processed through MTO’s system (Driver’s License History).

• Certification may take up to 7 business days to appear in the system after final completion.

5. Payment Terms

• Full or partial payment is required to secure a spot in the course.

• Payments can be made online via credit card, debit, e-transfer, or other approved methods.

• All prices are in CAD and are subject to HST where applicable.

• Payment plans may be available but must be arranged prior to starting the course.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase, provided no portion of the course (online or in-car) has been started.

• After 7 days or once any part of the course has commenced, no refund will be issued.

• A $50 administrative fee will be applied to all approved refunds.

7. Student Conduct

• Respectful behavior is expected at all times during online and in-car sessions.

• Elevate Driving School reserves the right to remove any student from the program for disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior, with no refund.

8. Liability

• Elevate Driving School is not responsible for any personal injury, damage, or loss incurred during driving lessons.

• Students are required to follow all instructions from the driving instructor and obey all traffic laws.

9. Privacy Policy

• Personal information is collected for enrollment, certification, and communication purposes only and will not be shared without consent, except as required by the MTO.
